Ready to participate in a great kids event? Then do not hesitate to register for the GREEN LAKE KIDS TRIATHLON.

We are excited to offer this great event to all kids 3 – 12 years old. You will swim in the gorgeous Green Lake, bike around beautiful Spicer, run through downtown with supporters cheering you on.

For 2012's event, all proceeds received (beyond the cost of the event) will be donated to an organization that also promotes a healthy lifestyle for the children of our communities. The organization selected for 2012 is:



Hope Pregnancy Center exists to empower women in an unplanned pregnancy to make life affirming choices. With this mission statement in mind, each client is offered the True Value Parenting Program. This program helps to answer many questions on how to be a good parent, how to raise healthy, happy children, and to better understand the challenges and joys that lie ahead for them and their baby.

Participants can "Earn While You Learn". With each completed lesson, credit is earned toward baby clothing, furniture, supplies and other materials. The center staff provides support and resources during the time of transition and change. The HPC parenting instructors helps each participant understand what to expect during pregnancy, the challenges and joys of what lies ahead for them and their baby, how to be the best parent they can be.
